必赢体育app中国官方网站鈥檚 Building Southern team is celebrating a double success at this year鈥檚 Southern Construction Framework (SCF) awards with two individual honours for the London and South East region.
Matt Riley has been named Preconstruction Manager of the Year for his outstanding leadership on the Rowan Wood School project for the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Matt transformed a politically sensitive and technically complex brief into a benchmark scheme for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) delivery. His role as preconstruction lead saw him navigate a fast-tracked, high-stakes programme by combining strategic vision, collaborative leadership, and deep technical knowledge.
Zak Scarborough, who began his career as a Trainee Technician and now Assistant Site Manager, also on the Rowan Wood School project, has been recognised as Apprentice of the Year. Zak stood out for his consistent dedication, technical skill, and keen eye for improvement, particularly in FieldView operations. His ability to identify and communicate key refinements has positively impacted project quality and team efficiency. This latest accolade builds on Zak's win at the Construction News (CN) Workforce Awards last year, where he also earned the title of Apprentice of the Year for his commitment to excellence.
Delivered in collaboration with SCF, the 拢30m development will provide 128 specialist places for students aged 11鈥19 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex needs.
Gavin Bridge, Managing Director of 必赢体育app中国官方网站 Building Southern, commented: 鈥淲e thank our partners at SCF for the recognition they have given to these members of our team. I congratulate both Matt and Zak on their success and that of the wider team for being recognised for their hard work on the Rowan Wood School project.鈥
