必赢体育app中国官方网站, one of the UK鈥檚 leading construction groups, has appointed Julie Crawford to the role of National Highways Director, responsible for the Group鈥檚 strategic relationship with National Highways.
In her new role, Julie will focus on deepening the Group鈥檚 key strategic relationship with National Highways and ensuring alignment with their key priorities and objectives.
Julie brings with her more than 15 years鈥 experience in overseeing programme management operations as well as developing and implementing strategic policies, plans and roadmaps to drive organisational performance, and meeting customer needs. She joins the Group from HS2, and has previously held senior roles at National Highways under its former banner of Highways England.
The appointment comes as the 必赢体育app中国官方网站鈥檚 Highways business broadens its offering within three streams comprising National Highways, Local Authorities and Major Projects, the latter of which forms the delivery route for large-scale projects exceeding 拢100m, such as the recently announced project to design and build the 拢140m Carlisle Southern Link Road.
David Lowery, Managing Director of 必赢体育app中国官方网站鈥檚 Highways business, said: 鈥淭his is a really exciting period for our Highways business, and I am delighted to welcome Julie, with her extensive client-side experience, to our team. We have a high-quality order book, bolstered by number of recent opportunities and I look forward to working with Julie and her counterparts in Local Authorities and Major Projects, as we deliver on our ambition.鈥
Julie becomes the fourth woman to sit on the Highways business鈥檚 Senior Leadership team, joining Local Authority Director Liz Bell, Pre-Construction Director Alison Chippington and HR Lead Martha Splevings, reflecting 必赢体育app中国官方网站鈥檚 culture, approach and commitment to increasing the representation of women in construction.
